Mahsons Wholesale supplies genuine branded and Arabian fragrances to UK trade customers. We take product authenticity, sourcing and traceability seriously.
Our sourcing approach
Our stock is sourced through established UK and European distributors and suppliers. We do not knowingly buy or sell counterfeit or imitation products.
Supply routes can differ from brand to brand.
Purchasing & traceability
Purchasing records, such as supplier invoices and transaction records, are retained as part of our purchasing process. Where information is available, these records help us connect the stock we sell to the purchases it came from, and to look into any concern a customer raises.
To protect commercial confidentiality, we do not publish supplier names, purchase details or invoices.
Product & packaging variations
Genuine fragrances are not always identical in appearance. Manufacturers update their packaging over time, and the same fragrance can differ between production runs or between markets. Legitimate differences can include:
- packaging revisions and redesigns
- bottle or cap changes
- label and print changes
- cellophane or wrapping differences
- batch and production variations
- packaging made for different regions or markets
A packaging difference does not, on its own, mean a product is counterfeit. It does not rule out a problem either, so if something about a product looks wrong to you, please tell us.
When stock arrives
Stock is handled through our normal receiving and fulfilment process, with product and purchasing information retained where available.
If you have a concern
If you have a genuine concern about the authenticity, packaging, batch information or condition of a product you bought from us, please get in touch. It helps if you include your order number, the product concerned and, where possible, clear photographs of the item, its packaging and any batch code.
We will review your order and the purchasing and supply information available to us. Where appropriate, we may raise the matter with the relevant supplier and will keep you informed of the outcome available to us.

Returns & product condition
Problems with an order, including items that arrive damaged, are handled under our Returns & Damages policy. If you are not sure whether your concern is covered there, contact us and we will advise.
